After a short search, officials found Olney in the woods behind the residence on Robinson Mill Road and took him into custody, the sheriff’s office reported.

Upon obtaining a search warrant, deputies recovered a shotgun they said Olney used to shoot his 43-year-old girlfriend in the upper arm.

She was being treated at shock trauma for injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, according to the sheriff’s office. Someone had driven her to the Darlington Volunteer Fire Company before police arrived at the Robinson Mill Road address Sunday, and she was taken by medevac to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, the report said.

She was in “fair condition” at shock trauma on Monday afternoon, The Aegis reported.

During a bail review Monday, Olney was ordered to be held without bail at the Harford County Detention Center, according to the sheriff’s office.
