City Postpones Ice Rink Opening
Weather has delayed the grand opening of skating rink at Hutchins Park.
The Havre de Grace ice rink will not open on Thursday as planned.
The inaugural run has been postponed due to weather; rain that has been steadily falling Thursday morning is expected to continue for much of the day, according to the National Weather Service.
Now, the rink will open at 4 p.m. on Friday, when city officials say there will be sunny skies and weather “perfect for skating.”
