Columbus Day 2017: What's Open, Closed In Havre de Grace

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD - Columbus Day is a federal holiday on Monday, Oct. 9. Observed on the second Monday of October, Columbus Day can be a bit confusing when it comes to knowing what's open and what's closed because despite its designation as a holiday, many still have to work.

In Harford County, for example, the county government will run as usual but some agencies like the courts and libraries will be closed. To help navigate the holiday, Patch has put together a list of Columbus Day closings.
