Havre de Grace Opens Ice Rink at Hutchins Park

The Havre de Grace ice rink is now open.

Mayor Bill Martin, City Council and community members officially opened the synthetic rink Friday afternoon.

The rink will be open from 4 to 8 p.m. on select days from Dec. 18 to Feb. 28, at Hutchins Park on Congress Avenue. There may be a “late skate” from 8 to 10 p.m. on weekends; on New Year’s Eve, the rink will offer a night skate from 8 to 10 p.m. before the annual Duck Drop.
