HdG Detectives Investigate Body Found in Elk River: Police
Maryland Natural Resources Police reportedly discovered body Monday morning.

Maryland Natural Resources Police and the Havre de Grace Police Department are reportedly coordinating after a body was found Monday morning near the Chesapeake Bay.
At 11:21 a.m. on Monday, April 6, Natural Resources Police contacted Havre de Grace officials to let them know a body had washed up near the entrance to the Elk River, according to Jeff Gilpin, spokesman for the Havre de Grace Police Department.
“One of our detectives went out to the location to see if this is in relation to a missing persons report taken by our agency,” Gilpin said.

As of Monday afternoon, Gilpin said the body had yet to be identified and it was undetermined whether the person was related to any individual missing from the city of Havre de Grace.
