HdG Police Find Car Day After It Was Reported Stolen: Officials

Two traffic stops resulted in charges this week, according to the Havre de Grace Police Department.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — In the past few days, the Havre de Grace Police Department reports it has made two arrests and investigated one theft. The following information is provided by police. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Police arrested a man after conducting a traffic stop on a gray 3-series BMW on Otsego Street at North Union Avenue at 5:39 p.m. on Nov. 18. The vehicle, which had Pennsylvania tags, matched the description of a car taken the night before from the 600 block of Concord Street. A 21-year-old from the 1500 block of Superior Street was charged with motor vehicle theft; theft from $1,500 to $25,000; and unauthorized removal of a motor vehicle. He had been on probation for burglary and is now being held without bail at the Harford County Detention Center.

A 29-year-old Forest Hill woman was cited for possession of paraphernalia and an insurance violations on Otsego Street at Legion Drive. She was stopped before 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 17 and was released without incident.

A man took an envelope containing $100 from the counter in the 400 block of South Juniata Street, then left through the back door. The theft happened around 10:55 a.m. on Nov. 17.
