Knifepoint Robbery On Erie Street: HdG Crime

Police said that a burglary happened while people were moving, DJ equipment was stolen from a vehicle and more crimes were reported in HdG.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Two bank cards were stolen from the 300 block of Fountain Street at 2:09 p.m. on Sept. 5.

A 36-year-old man from the 600 block of Adams Street was arrested for disorderly conduct at 10:06 p.m. on Sept. 4.

Property was stolen in the 100 block of Wilson Street at 9:49 p.m. on Sept. 4. While people were moving, a Sony flat-screen TV, box spring, mattress, 20 DVDs and two lamps were stolen as well as the GE refrigerator. The white refrigerator/freezer belonged to the landlord and was valued at $200, while the other property taken totaled around $380.

A 37-year-old woman from Old Post Road was arrested at 8 p.m. on Sept. 4 in the 100 block of Wilson Street. She was wanted on a warrant through the Harford County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear.

Money was reported stolen out of a bank account in the 600 block of Girard Street at 4:07 p.m. on Sept. 4.

A man with a knife robbed a woman of her purse at 2:29 p.m. on Sept. 4. They were in the 800 block of Erie Street at the time, when the suspect pulled her into an area behind the house. He was described as a black man about 5-feet-5-inches tall and 250 pounds wearing a hoodie with ripped jeans and black shoes.

DJ equipment was stolen from the back of a 2009 dark gray Hyundai Elantra in the 600 block of Ontario Street. The theft was reported around 2:12 p.m. on Sept. 4. A four-channel professional DJ mixer, casters and two Pioneer turntables were removed from a coffin case in the vehicle. The estimated value of the items was $2,440.92.
