Abingdon Panera Reopens After Deputy Deaths

The Panera where a deputy was killed last Wednesday reopened Tuesday morning, according to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler thanked employees and showed his support for the business by greeting workers Tuesday, the sheriff’s office reported.

The restaurant in the Boulevard at Box Hill shopping center closed Wednesday afternoon following the shooting of Deputy Patrick Dailey, 52, inside. The shooter was killed nearby after he fatally shot a second officer, Deputy Mark Logsdon, 43. >>> Read more.

Driver Collides With Pregnant Woman’s Vehicle, Flees: Police

A driver who fled the scene of a car crash involving a pregnant woman is being sought by Anne Arundel County Police. The department shared a photo of the suspect vehicle on social media Tuesday, and residents are buzzing.
