Port Deposit Boater Still Missing, Officials Say
Search continues for canoeist whose boat capsized in Susquehanna River earlier this week.
The search for a missing Port Deposit man is continuing, Natural Resources Police reported Friday.
“We have not located the victim yet,” Lt. Brian Albert of Maryland Natural Resources Police told Patch Friday evening. The agency is continuing to conduct searches of the area, he said.

Jacob Zorn, 22, has been missing since Tuesday night, when he and his fellow canoeist were knocked into the water after a burst of wind capsized their boat, Natural Resources Police spokeswoman Candy Thomson said.
In the days since Zorn’s disappearance, Natural Resources Police have deployed divers and Bay Area Recovery Canines into the Susquehanna River where he may have disappeared.

Rescuers responded Tuesday night to the waters between Lee’s Landing and the Lapidum boat launch, according to Water Witch Volunteer Fire Company, which safely brought one boater to shore.
Units that have assisted in the search include Maryland State Police, Natural Resources Police, Water Witch Volunteer Fire Company, Susquehanna Hose Company, Darlington Volunteer Fire Company, Charlestown Fire Company and the Harford County Technical Rescue Team.
