Sign Stolen, Sleeping Burglar, 6 Arrests: HdG Crime
From drunken crash to diaper thief, see what Havre de Grace police were up to this week.

The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.
A 34-year-old woman from the 100 block of West Inca Street in Aberdeen was arrested at 5:35 p.m. on March 9 in the 700 block of Pennington Avenue for failure to appear.
A 25-year-old man from the 100 block of Bloomsbury was arrested at 2:37 p.m. on March 9 in the 400 block of Juniata Street on a warrant out of the Harford County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear.

A parking sign was stolen near the ER in the 500 block of South Union Avenue, reported after 9 a.m. on March 8.
Money and other items were taken when a vehicle was broken into in the 600 block of Ontario Street. The theft was reported at 7:51 a.m. on March 8.

A 21-year-old Elkton man was charged with burglary after he was found sleeping in a home in the 300 block of Girard Street on March 8. He allegedly climbed through a window to get inside.
Money was taken from an ATM in the 700 block of Pulaski Highway, reported around 12:15 p.m. on March 6.
Possible theft of money orders was reported in the 200 block of South Stokes Street at 8:45 a.m. on March 6. The matter is under investigation.
A phone was stolen from the 500 block of South Union Avenue. The theft was reported at approximately 9:30 p.m. on March 5.
A vehicle was vandalized on Green Street at North Freedom Lane. After it was reported at 6:36 p.m. on March 5, the vandalism case was referred to the commissioner.
Diapers and wipes were stolen from a UPS package in the 600 block of North Stokes Street. The theft was reported at approximately 3:30 p.m. on March 4.
A 41-year-old woman from the 400 block of Lafayette Street was charged with DUI after hitting a vehicle in the 400 block of Market Street on March 4.
Destruction of property was reported in the 700 block of Hoppers Lane. It allegedly occurred March 4.
A 49-year-old man from the 100 block of Anderson Avenue was charged with first and second-degree assault March 4 related to an incident in the 100 block of Pusey Street.
A 39-year-old man from the 200 block of South Stokes Street was served a summons March 4 charging him with assault related to a Feb. 2 altercation involving his mother.
