Two Charged in Murder of HdG Man, Aberdeen Woman: Police

Police have charged two Aberdeen men in the double homicide that occurred outside an apartment building earlier this week.

ABERDEEN, MD — Two men have been charged in the murders of a Havre de Grace man and an Aberdeen woman that occurred earlier this week.

Police said 43-year-old Jumal R. Dudley of Havre de Grace and 31-year-old Taneisha C. Smothers of Aberdeen were found shot to death outside an apartment in the unit block of East Bel Air Avenue around 3:15 a.m. on Monday.

Ronald Brian Comer Jr., 29, of the unit block of Post Road, and Terrell Darnell Walton, 29, of the 400 block of Washington Street, were arrested Wednesday in connection with the double homicide, according to the Aberdeen Police Department.

Each is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree murder, two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault and using a firearm to commit a felony.

The case remains under investigation.
