Woman Urinating on Sidewalk: HdG Crime

Stolen bikes, drunk driver and other incidents were among recent reports to the Havre de Grace Police Department.

Siding to a home in the 900 block of Woodhaven Court was damaged, reported at 10:58 a.m. on April 13.

An orange and silver 18-speed Next mountain bike was reported stolen from the 100 block of Remington Circle at 1:26 a.m. on April 13. The bike had been secured to a pillar on the deck behind the home.

At 9:16 p.m. on April 12, police responded to Adams at Bourbon streets for a report of a woman urinating on a sidewalk. While checking the woman for warrants, she became irate and started yelling. The 39-year-old woman from the 100 block of West Aztec Street in Aberdeen was arrested and cited for disorderly conduct.

A woman left her phone on the counter at a restaurant in the 800 block of Pulaski Highway while paying for her food. She sat down at a table, realized she had left her phone and went back to get it but the white Samsung Galaxy was gone. The theft was reported at 3:36 p.m. on April 12. Estimated loss was $200.

A family went on vacation for a week, leaving three bikes unsecured behind their home in the 1400 block of Bayview Drive. A purple Diamondback mountain bike, a red Diamondback hybrid and a green Schwinn were taken. Estimated loss was $900. The theft was reported at 2:28 p.m. on April 12. There are no suspects.

At 1:58 a.m. on April 11, a man was pulled over in the 800 block of Otsego Street for failing to stay right of the center line. Upon investigation, he was found to be driving while intoxicated. Police also discovered the 58-year-old driver, who lived in the unit block of Mahogany Drive in North East, was wanted on two warrants out of the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, among other violations.

A man left a friend of a friend in his apartment in the 100 block of North Washington Street and returned to find his laptop, Blu-ray player and three watches were missing. Estimated loss was $2,500. The theft was reported at 4:23 p.m. on April 10.

A 38-year-old man from the 400 block of Green Street was arrested at 9:32 a.m. on April 10 on a warrant through the Harford County Sheriff’s Office for non support.

A possible domestic incident in the 1100 block of Chesapeake Drive is under investigation after a call at 1:28 a.m. on April 10. The Harford County Domestic Violence Unit is investigating.

At 1 a.m. on April 7, police responded to Superior Street, where two people were reportedly intoxicated under the Hatem Bridge. One man was passed out, while another was walking around with a laceration on his head. The man walking around became aggressive toward police, a struggle ensued and he was arrested. The aggressive man—a 51-year-old from West Chester, Pa.—was charged with two counts of second-degree assault, resisting arrest and failure to obey a lawful order. The other individual, a 40-year-old homeless man, was found to be wanted on a warrant through Baltimore City and was also placed under arrest.

A wallet containing $200 in cash, credit cards and a license was stolen from the 900 block of Revolution Street. The theft was reported at 5:49 p.m. on April 6.

At 12:53 a.m. on April 3, police responded to an altercation at a bar in the 400 block of Saint John Street, where one man was reportedly on the ground. Two men were treated at area hospitals for various injuries. A 30-year-old from the 600 block of North Stokes Street was charged with two counts of first-degree assault and two counts of second-degree assault.

An assault was witnessed in the 1100 block of Revolution Street, reported at 3:19 p.m. on April 1. The individual was referred to the commissioner.
