2 Killed in White Hall ATV Accident

Three others were transported to a hospital as a result of the Sunday morning incident.

Two men were killed early Sunday following an ATV accident in White Hall, according to

Stephen David Tracy, 30, of the 17900 block of Gunpowder Road in Hampstead and Jeffry Lawrence Griffin, 29, of the 500 block of Stablers Church Road in Parkton, were riding in an ATV with three other passengers when the vehicle flipped and fell into a ditch, a county police dispatcher stated. Tracy and Griffin died in the crash while the others were transported with injuries to York County Hospital in Pennsylvania.

The three passengers were identified as Megan Strein, 25, of the 160 block of Stringwood Drive in New Freedom, PA, Matthew Ohlson, 24, of Elk Grove Village, IL, and Jason Burkenback, whose age and address are unknown, according to an email release.

responded to the scene in the 1800 block of Vernon Road in White Hall at around 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
