65-Year-Old Monkton Man Struck by Fallen Tree
The man was flown to Maryland Shock Trauma to be treated for injuries.

A Monkton man was transported to Maryland Shock Trauma for treatment after a tree fell on him Saturday morning, Baltimore County Fire Department officials said.
According to county police, the man, 65, was driving his tractor when the incident occurred. He then drove and parked the tractor in his garage before having his wife call 911. Fire department personnel responded to the scene in the 700 block of Monkton Road at around 10:40 a.m.
The man was driven to nearby Hereford High School, where a helicopter was waiting, and then flown to Maryland Shock Trauma, police said.
