County Animal Shelter Hosts Festival

Festival will feature a rabies clinic and pet adoption services.

The Baltimore County Department of Health's Animal Control Division is hosting an Animal Festival Saturday. 

The event will take place at the animal shelter, located at 13800 Manor Road, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Between 10 a.m. and noon, pet owners are invited to have their animals vaccinated for rabies, get licensed or micro-chipped for a small fee.

Those interested in adopting a pet will have to opportunity to do so at the festival. The $60 adoption fee includes a pet of your choice, veterinary examination, first set of vaccinations, micro-chip with a lifetime registration and an annual license. 

The Animal Festival will also include vendors, rescue groups and activities for children.
