Celebrate the Season at the Hereford Fall Festival

The weekend festival will feature helicopter rides, monster truck rides and lots of food.

Apple cider, moon bounces and hayrides are pretty typical of a community autumn celebration, but the offers much more.

The festival, which takes place this weekend at 200 Mt. Carmel Rd. in Parkton, will also feature and monster truck rides, a rock wall tower and a display of antique farm equipment.

More than 50 food, craft and specialty vendors from Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Virginia are scheduled to attend.

Be sure to come hungry because there's going to be plenty of food options including crab dip, barbecue pork, pit beef and ham and waffle-on-a-stick.

In addition, , and will provide tastings for the adults in the crowd.

Admission prices are $10 for those interested in tasting the wines and $5 for non-tasters. The $10 ticket includes a wine glass and six sampling coupons.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
