Charges Against Rental Office Robbery Suspect Dropped
Prosecutor said there is insufficient evidence to convict.

Charges were dropped Friday against a man arrested and charged with participating in the Dec. 27 robbery of a
Garret Glennon, an assistant county state's attorney, said charges were dismissed against Dacron Donte Hobbs because of insufficient evidence.
Hobbs, 34 and a Baltimore City resident, was on information provided by an anonymous tipster through the Metro Crime Stoppers.

Cell phone records allegedly placed Hobbs in the area of the apartment complex at the time of the robbery, according to police statements at the time of Hobbs' arrest.
Glennon said the anonymous tip and cell phone records "were insufficient evidence."

Dwuan Thomas, 31, who also was identified as a suspect by the tipster, still faces charges. He was arrested April 14.
On Dec. 27, four men approached nine tenants who were waiting in line to pay rent outside a Hendersen-Webb rental office. One of the men was wielding a gun. After demanding and collecting an undisclosed amount of money, the men fled in a mid-size SUV, police said.
County police arrested Hobbs and Thomas and charged them with the heist.
Police also identified a third suspect, but he died before an arrest could be made.
The fourth suspect has yet to be arrested.
