Mount Clare Museum House is hosting a Colonial
Craft Day at Mount Clare Stable in Carroll Park. Participants travel back to colonial times to apply
their skills in making items that were necessary in the use of everyday life.
They will learn how to write a letter with a quill pen, make a clothes pin doll,
assemble a lantern and even try to master the skill of colonial stitchery. In
addition to making crafts, colonial artisans will be on site to demonstrate
Theorem Painting and spinning. Live
colonial music provided throughout the day.
Reservation required. For tickets
call Erica Davis at 410-837-3262 x101 or edavis@borail.org. Tickets include admission to the Mount Clare
