Crime: Burglars Hit Vacant Apartments

The following information was supplied by the Cockeysville Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Cockeysville

Ginger View Court, unit block, 10:40 p.m., Aug. 26. Six men and two women, between the ages of 18 and 20, were seen breaking into a vacant apartment through an unlocked sliding glass door. Nothing was taken.

Limestone Valley, 300 block, 7:05 p.m., Aug. 25. Four male juveniles were charged with burglary for attempting to break into a vacant apartment. They were arrested on the scene.

Meadow Grass Court, unit block, between 4 p.m., Aug. 24 and 9 a.m., Aug. 25. Walls were spray painted in a vacant apartment.

Sweet Air Road, unit block, between 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Aug. 25. A glass door was broken to gain entry to a residence and two laptops, a television and a jewelry box were taken.

Blenheim Road, 3700 block, between 5 p.m., Aug. 18 and 9 p.m., Aug. 23. A patio table was thrown into a pool at a residence.
