Family Farm Day

Unleash your inner farmer and come celebrate Maryland’s rich and multi-faceted agricultural industry at the 2^nd annual Family Farm Day hosted by the Maryland Agricultural Resource Council at the Baltimore County Center for
Maryland Agriculture and Farm Park. So
come on out October 27^th and get a taste of life on the farm. Milk a
cow, ride a pony, learn to make butter, or build a scarecrow! Paint a pumpkin,
pet an alpaca and pick up your heels to the sound of bluegrass while sipping
some of Maryland’s own beer & wine – or apple cider! You can also purchase
fresh, locally grown produce, meats, flowers, and crafts, take a carriage ride
around the 150-acre farm, learn about worm composting or how to work with
honeybees. No matter your age or interest, we have something for everyone. Our
food vendors will be dishing up some delicious local foods and we’ll even have
a brewer on hand showing us how to make beer!
