Maple Sugar Time

Midwinter is the best time to experience the tapping of maple trees for their sap. Come with us to tap maple trees for sap, then boil it down to make maple syrup. Enjoy the sweet vapors from the evaporator at our Sugar Shack, sample the delicious finished product, and maybe buy a bottle of syrup or maple sugar candies in the gift shop.

And don't forget the annual Pancake Breakfast March 2 and 3 at the Oregon Ridge Park Lodge, from 8 A.M. to noon, where maple syrup tops the hot cakes and sausage, served with with coffee, milk and juice. Tickets at door: $7 for adults, $3 children under 9.
