A 12-year-old child was struck on Old York Road by his neighbor.
ExploreHarford.com reported on Friday that Kyle Hammerstein, 12, a resident of the 4000 block of Old York Road in Monkton, was struck by a car while riding his bicycle on Tuesday.
The car was driven by a neighbor, of the 4100 block of the same street, who was taken surprise when Hammerstein biked into the road after being obscured by trees and shrubbery, according to the article.
