2. Great American Backyard Campout

Where/When: Anita C. Leight Estuary Center, 5 p.m. June 25 to 10 a.m. June 26

Why Go: Want to learn how to camp? Join a naturalist for a campout, and learn some basic skills for family camping. 

Pricing: $40 per family

 

3. Compleat Works of William Shakespeare  

Where/When: Patapsco Female Institute Historical Park, June 25, 8 to 11 p.m.

Why Go: This wacky comedy is a crazy mélange of scenes from different Shakespeare's plays. Pack a picnic supper and a bottle of wine. 

Pricing: $32

 

 4. 31st Annual Latino Fest. 

Where/When: Patterson Park, June 25, noon to 10 p.m.; June 26 noon to 9 p.m.

Why Go: A celebration of all things Latin. Enjoy dancing, arts and crafts, games, music and colorful costumes. 

Pricing: $5 for adults, children under 12 free

 

5. Sip, Savor, Shop

Where/When: Towson Town Center, June 23, 5 to 8 p.m. 

Why Go: Head over to the town center for a night of shopping, samplings from Maryland wineries and food tastings from local restaurants. Proceeds benefit the United Way of Maryland.
