2.Stargazing Fridays

Where/When: Maryland Science Center; Every Friday, 5:30-8 p.m.

Why Go: See the planets and stars through the Maryland Science Center's observatory's historic refracting telescope. Please dress appropriately as the observatory is open to the outdoors.

Why Go: Learn tricks of the magic trade including basic sleight of hand, performance tips and magic history tidbits.

4. Sucker Punch

Where/When: Hunt Valley Regal Cinemas, Starts Friday

Why Go: This fantasy adventure has been described as "Alice in Wonderland with machine guns."
