Why Go: Learn how to draw your own superhero, and write a comic book with a story, main character and background. This event is best suited for ages 11 to 17.

Why Go: Discover ancient musical instruments and be inspired to create dragon drums, sweet musical boxes, rattle-like sistrums and collages.

4.  Family Fun at McFadden Art Glass 

Where/When: McFadden Art Glass, Sunday, Feb. 20,1-4 p.m.

Why Go: Watch live glass blowing! Ages 5 and up can make their own glass pendant, flower ornament or paperweight. Tour the amazing gallery and enjoy food and drink at the Glass Grill.

5. Full Sap Moon Night Hike

Where/When: Oregon Ridge Nature Center, Friday, Feb. 18, 7–9 p.m.

Why Go: Find a sweet treat by moonlight and tap a tree. Afterwards, warm up by a fire and enjoy s'mores. Recommended for ages 6 and up.
