 4.  All That Glitters 

Where/When:  The Walters Art Museum, March 5, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Why Go: Explore a sparkling treasure trove of precious materials. The special exhibition, Treasures of Heaven, will inspire kids to create ornate mementos and keepsakes, including treasure chests, memory capsules, golden figurines and secret books. 5.  Garden Preview Party 

Where/When: Maryland State Fairgrounds March 4, 6 to 9 p.m.

Why Go: Be a guest to the first-ever Garden Preview Party to benefit Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake. Explore the lush, fully landscaped, live gardens at the Maryland Home and Garden Show. Enjoy wine, live music and hors d'oeuvres while previewing the garden displays before the opening day.
