GRAB & GO KIDS PLANNER: Shrek the Musical Comes to the Hippodrome

Check out Patch's picks for fun family ideas.

Take the whole family to see your favorite ogre perform in a faraway kingdom with a feisty princess, fairy tale misfits and a cookie with an attitude. If that isn't enough fantasy, head on over to see Jack and the Beanstalk where a young boy goes to market to sell his cow Milky White and scales an overgrown shrub for the golden goose. Throw Leprechauns in the mix and you will have your share of fairytales for the entire year. And don't forget to check out the antics of the Timberdoodles at the Marshy Point Nature Center.
