Man Flown to Hospital Following Parkton Car Crash

A 20-year-old man was flown by helicopter to an area hospital following an accident in Parkton.

Officers responded to the scene, in the 20100 block of Old York Road, at 6:28 p.m. Monday. They found a man unconscious with head trauma after his car crashed into a pole, according to a Baltimore County Police Department spokesman.

Details of the crash were not fully known. The victim's identity, condition and which hospital he was taken to were not immediately available.

Police are still on scene investigating the incident. 

Traffic patterns were not affected.
