Man Struck by Tree Branch Sent to Hospital
The man was helping a friend cut off the branch.
A man was sent to a hospital after a tree branch struck him in the head, Baltimore County police said.
The man was helping a friend cut off a branch from a tree in his yard, located at the 3500 block of Sweet Air Road in Phoenix, when the branch fell and struck him in the head, police spokeswoman Julia Hardgrove said.
He then walked over to nearby Jacksonville Volunteer Fire Company, where personnel had him sent to Maryland Shock Trauma.

Hardgrove said the injuries were not life-threatening.
