NJ Police: Roswell Friend's Death a Possible Suicide
The Cockeysville man's body was found in the Delaware River near Riverton, NJ.

, the 22-year-old Cockeysville man who disappeared after going for a run in Philadelphia earlier this month, may have committed suicide, New Jersey police said.
New Jersey police spokesman Capt. Frank Davis confirmed Tuesday that it was Friend's body that was pulled from the Delaware River near Riverton, NJ on Aug.22. Davis said drowning has been determined as the cause of death and that investigators suspect Friend committed suicide.
Friend, a recent Temple University graduate and a former Dulaney High School student, was last seen by security cameras jogging near the 1700 block of Wilmington Street in Philadelphia on Aug. 18.

reported that Friend might have been distressed about rent due on a rowhouse shared with others. The Sun stated he wrote “Sorry guys” to his roommates on a whiteboard.
