UPDATE: Northbound I-83 Closed After Tractor-Trailer Crash
Police responded to the scene at around 4:40 a.m. Thursday morning.

(Original)—Northbound Interstate 83 is closed following an early-morning incident Thursday involving two tractor-trailers, Baltimore County police said.
Police responded to the scene, located near the York Road exit on I-83 in Parkton, at around 4:40 a.m.

As of 8:50 a.m., traffic is backed up to Mt. Carmel Road.
The tractor-trailers were moved to the side, and crews are now cleaning up cinder blocks and other debris that fell onto the interstate.

Police said no one was transported to the hospital.
Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes.
