PHOTOS: Cockeysville Middle Students Design Banners for Library
The students created the artwork to commemorate the library's summer reading program.
Cockeysville Middle School students, under the direction of their art teacher Denise Webster, created banners representing the theme "One World, Many Stories" in honor of the Cockeysville Library's summer reading program.
"They're just wonderful, wonderful designs," librarian Janet Ring said.
The summer reading program, which runs through Aug. 13, invites people of all ages to keep up with their reading, or listening for infants and small children, throughout the summer. So far, more than 3,000 participants have signed up for the program.
