Lutherville-Timonium developers have presented plans to build residential properties in Sparks and Cockeysville.

Two residential developments may be coming to the York Road corridor in Hunt Valley in a few years.
, Tom Obrecht, chairman of Obrecht Properties in Timonium, proposed a plan for an 80-unit townhome community near York Road and Fila Way in Sparks. Obrecht said the property was already zoned, and his company believes that community members would find a residential development more favorable than a commercial one.

In addition to this development, Consolidated Equities Corporation, a Lutherville-based real estate developer, met with Baltimore County officials in mid-August to present plans for a 262-unit luxury "transit-oriented" apartment complex in Cockeysville. The corporation's representative Robert Becker said the development, which would be located on the east side of McCormick Road, south of Schilling Circle near the .
