Elderly Woman's Body Found, Likely Homicide: Reports

Investigators believe an elderly woman was killed in her Hyattsville home, according to The Washington Post.

Prince George’s County Police found the body at 11:35 a.m. in the 6400 block of Knollbrook Drive.

The victim’s name has not been released. NBC Washington reports she was a 94-year-old woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the woman suffered trauma to her body. USA9 reports this appears to be a targeted incident.
