More than 20 warrants tied to suspect in fatal Brandywine crash (wjla.com) — Hyattsville residents are learning more about a woman Hyattsville Police arrested last year at the Macy's on East West Highway, now tied to a fatal wrong-way crash in Brandywine. Newly obtained court records outline alleged thefts of more than $10,000 in merchandise from Ulta, Sephora, Macy's and TJ Maxx across several counties. Many warrants, including one from the Hyattsville case, were still active at the time of the crash.

The Hyattsville resident now faces up to 25 years in prison at sentencing in January.
