Romance: Too Young to Fight it: Why we love Y.A. Paranormal Romance

Nicky Penttila, Hyattsville author
of historical fiction including An Untitled Lady and A Note of Scandal, will be
featured at the 20th annual Virginia Festival of the Book, produced
by the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities. As part of the
Festival’s Day of Romance (Saturday, March 22), Penttila will moderate a panel
called “Romance: Too Young to Fight it: Why we love Y.A. Paranormal Romance.”  The panel starts at 4 pm at CitySpace-Piedmont Council for the Arts, 100 5th
Street NE, in Charlottesville. On the panel: Jennifer Armentrout (White Hot
Kiss), Alethea Kontis (Hero, Enchanted), Wendy Higgins (Sweet Evil; Sweet
Peril), and Jodi Meadows (Incarnate).

The Festival, which takes place March 19-23, 2014, is held in venues throughout Charlottesville and Albemarle County, Virginia, and is now the largest educational book event in the mid-Atlantic, drawing a cumulative annual attendance of more than 20,000.
