• Missing Kayakers Found Safe In Duck Blind After 30-Hour Search On Potomac River (thebaynet.com) — Indian Head–area crews helped locate two missing kayakers after a 30-hour search on the Potomac River, finding them waving from a duck blind near Craney Island. The Tenth District Volunteer Fire Department's Fireboat 8 brought them aboard, confirmed they were uninjured, and transferred them to Fairfax County responders for return to the Virginia shoreline.
