Calling All Proud Parents: Nominate Your Whiz Kid

Know a great kid who made the honor roll, volunteered at a soup kitchen or scored the winning basket at a basketball game? They may be our next Patch Whiz Kid honoree.

Each week, Kensington Patch will seek suggestions from readers for individual kids, youth groups and teenagers who wow us with their accomplishments. We want to hear about these amazing children and teens, and we will select one each week as the Kensington Patch Whiz Kid. Submit your nomination by e-mail to jesseka@patch.com. Be sure to include all of the following information, and send a photo if you have one:

• Nominator's Name
• Nominator's E-Mail
• Whiz Kid's Name
• Whiz Kid's Age
• Whiz Kid's School
• Whiz Kid's Accomplishment
• Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness (What makes him/her successful? Please write 100 to 150 words.)
