Person Hospitalized After Collision on Connecticut Ave. and Mapleview Drive

A two car collision was called in to police at 2:32 p.m. on Monday, according to a Montgomery County Police Spokeswoman.

The collision of two cars took place at the intersection of the 11700 block of Connecticut Avenue and the 11600 block of Mapleview Drive, according to Lucille Baur of the county police.

One adult has been transorted to an area hospital for treatment, but no further information is available at this time, according to Baur.

The details of the accident are still under investigation.
