McDonald’s Hispanic College Fund Scholarship Deadline Approaches

Applications are due by March 1.

For the second year in a row, McDonald's restaurants in the Greater Washington region have teamed up with the Hispanic College Fund to offer scholarships to future college students. Applications are due March 1 to be considered for a $1,500 scholarship.

Fourteen students will receive a $1,500 scholarship to their U.S. school or university, totaling $21,000 in awards. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be high school seniors with at least a 3.0 grade point average, who will be college undergraduates in Fall 2011. Additionally, all applicants must be U.S. citizens.

To apply, visit the Hispanic College Fund website. Winners will be announced in the spring.
