MCPD Reports Thefts from Vehicles in Kensington

Montgomery County Police released a recent crime summary for Sept. 26 through Oct. 4, which included multiple thefts from vehicles in a single night.

• Sept. 26: Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred overnight, concentrated around Dewey Road, Dunnel Lane, Farragut Avenue and Everett Street. Half of the vehicles were entered forcefully, while the others were either unlocked or entered through unknown means. Thieves targeted cell phones, GPS devices and cash.
