MCPS Superintendent Is on Twitter

Joshua Starr, Montgomery County Public Schools' new superintendent, has joined Twitter.

Starr, who , tweets under @mcpssuper.

"As I explore the school system and talk to the people that make it the vibrant and successful place that it is, Twitter will be a great way to share my experiences with the community," Starr said in a news release.

Thus far, he has tweeted about visiting schools and construction sites in the county. Starr used the same account to reach students and parents when he was superintendent in Stamford, Conn.

MCPS has a seperate Twitter account for its news and tips, which you can find at @MCPS.
