A bank robbery and a sexual assault were reported for the third week in July.
A bank robbery and a sexual assault were reported in and around the Kensington area between July 16 and 24.
- A bank robbery occurred at Lafayette Federal Credit Union, 3535 University Boulevard, Kensington on Tuesday, July 17 at approximately 3:00 p.m. The suspect was arrested in another state and is currently awaiting extradition.
- A sexual assault occurred in the 10200 block of Kensington Parkway, Kensington on Monday, July 16 at approximately 2:00 p.m. The suspect inappropriately touched the victim, who is known to the suspect.
