Montgomery County Police released a recent crime summary for Jan. 2 through 10, which included residential burglaries and thefts from vehicles.
- Jan. 4: An attempted residential burglary occurred on the 4200 block of Glenrose Street. The would-be burglars attempted forced entry and left with nothing.
- Jan. 7: Property was taken overnight on the 3900 block of Dresden Street. Thieves entered without forced entry.
- Jan. 8: Three thefts from vehicles took place overnight. Two were on the 3500 block of Farragut Avenue, and the third was on the 3600 block of Dupont Avenue. Police arrested 21-year-old man from Silver Spring in connection with the incidents.
