Rumors of Pedestrian Struck by Train 'Unfounded' Police Say
Police responded to a possible accident this morning, but found nothing.

The word on the listservs this morning was that a pedestrian was struck by a train, but police have said that the report is "unfounded."
A call was placed to the Montgomery County Police on Friday, June 3, by a train conductor who said that he believed he might have struck a bicyclist, according to an MCPD spokeswoman.
A K9 unit searched from the ground while Maryland State Police helicopters searched from above. No evidence of an incident was found.
