Drug, Gun Arrests Made at Motel Parking Lot

Two Laurel men were arrested on drug and gun charges, while a third received a traffic ticket, police say

LAUREL, MD — Two vehicles parked side by side at a Laurel motel where drug arrests have been made repeatedly drew the suspicion of police, and ended in arrests.

Anne Arundel County Police watched the vehicles Wednesday afternoon in the parking lot of the Garden Inn Hotel at 3400 Fort Meade Road in Laurel. When police checked the vehicles, the occupants reportedly tried to conceal items from the detective’s view.

Police searched the vehicles, where they found 50 Xanax pills hidden in a paper towel.
