The group is digitizing archives, expanding online access, and planning a major anniversary dinner, all to ensure everyday residents’ memories and lesser-known histories across St. Mary’s County are saved for future generations. 
• St. Mary's County Recreation & Parks Announces Upcoming Fall and Holiday Bus Trips (smnewsnet.com) — Leonardtown residents can hop on county-organized bus trips this fall, with one heading to Ocean City’s Sunfest on October 24 and another to New York City on December 12. Both excursions depart from Leonardtown, include round-trip transportation, and require advance online registration through St. Mary’s Recreation & Parks.
