The case involved multiple juvenile co-defendants, several Lusby neighborhood locations, and an intensive Calvert County Sheriff’s Office investigation that authorities say should reassure residents about efforts to curb violent crime locally. 
• Three Arrested in Lusby Drive-By Shooting (southernmarylandchronicle.com) — Deputies are investigating a late-night drive-by shooting on H.G. Trueman Road in Lusby, where shots hit a home with two adults and a toddler inside but caused no injuries. Three suspects from Waldorf were arrested with help from Charles County authorities, and investigators are still seeking additional information from residents.
• Two Calvert Men and a Juvenile Charged After Deputies Recover Loaded Handgun During Traffic Stop in Prince Frederick (smnewsnet.com) — Two young adults from Lusby are facing handgun and drug-related charges after Calvert County deputies say they found a loaded handgun and altered prescription bottle during an April 24 traffic stop in Prince Frederick. A juvenile passenger was also charged, and all three allegedly denied owning the firearm. The two Lusby defendants have been released on bond and are due back in Calvert District Court on June 5.
