Summer At Sandy Spring is a great Summer Day camp offering equal parts fun and uniqueness. For over thirty years, we have provided families with a safe, engaging, and active summer camp experience for children three years old to fourteen. With the sprawling Sandy Spring Friends School campus, we offer summer experiences for your children that will provide lifelong memories and friendships. Your children will have opportunities to explore Adventure Park, swim in our man-made pond, partake in our weekly theme weeks, enjoy daily hot lunches, and so much more! The community of Montgomery Village will play host to its annual Independence Day parade and celebration on July 3, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The parade steps off at 10 a.m. from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 20020 Montgomery Village Ave, eventually making its way down Apple Ridge Road and toward the parking lot of the Apple Ridge Recreation Area.
The celebration portion starts at 10:30 a.m. with a concert band performance, lawn games and carnival rides.
Organizers for the festivities say residents interested in joining the parade can do so by arriving at 9 a.m. to register at the church.
