The Cathedral Choral Society's final concert of the season features three rarely performed works by the leading composers of the Classical period. Beethoven wrote his miniature cantata Calm Sea and Prosperous Voyage in 1814 as an homage to Goethe. Haydn's victorious "Lord Nelson" Mass is a work of symphonic scope, the most brilliant and individual of the six late masses and considered one of his finest creations. The concert concludes with Mozart’s 1785 cantata The Penitent David, K. 469, a reworking of his Great Mass in C Minor with the addition of two original and exceptionally beautiful arias.

Tickets start at $25

Tickets for children and students with valid ID under the age of 25: $15
Free parking available in the Cathedral’s underground garage
